Atlas Biomed, a UK company that provides DNA, gut microbiome testing kits and a health platform. It has a research and development center and an analytics department in Russia, Moscow.
The company analyses and interprets genetic data contained in saliva (the Atlas DNA Test) or stool (the Atlas Microbiome Test) and compares them with tens of thousands of scientific research papers and clinical guidelines.
With the help of proprietary algorithms, the Atlas Biomed platform establishes a clear picture of a person’s health risks and provides personalised advice for health promotion, lifestyle improvement, and lifestyle disease prevention.

The sales in Europe have been doubling almost every year since the company’s launch in 2016. It has conducted more than 100 R&D projects with major European beverage manufacturers, yogurt manufacturers and pharmaceuticals.
Besides the UK, Atlas Biomed’s platform currently operates in 13 European countries, as well as Turkey, Russia and Canada, and Japan is the first APAC (Asia-Pacific) market to launch this service.

In January 2020, the company established Atlas Japan Limited Liability Company in Tokyo to develop the Atlas healthcare ecosystem to improve the quality of life and contribute to preventive medicine for Japanese citizens.

Upon establishing the company's Japanese subsidiary, JETRO's Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultations (registrations and tax) and business matching, and introduced service providers (certified legal specialists for company registration, tax accountants, social insurance and labor consultants, and public relations agencies).
