Segula Technologies (Headquarters at Nanterre, France), is a global company providing engineering services to wide range of industries, such as Automotive, Aerospace, Rails, Naval, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas.
Established in 1985, Segula Technologies is present in 140 locations, in 31 countries, with over 13,000 employees. In 2019, the company acquired the R&D Center of Adam Opel, in Ruesselsheim, Germany. Their design division Technicon Design, holds studios in 9 countries, with over 300 creators, designers and modelers. By integrating Industrial Design and Engineering at a high level, Segula Technologies provides services from Concept Design, Industrial Design, Product Engineering, Test & Validation, Homologation, Production Engineering. The company also conducts over 200 Advanced Development projects in various areas, every year.
On April 2019, Segula Technologies opened their Japanese Entity in Yokohama. Their business plan is to focus in the automotive industry, and will deploy their services, utilizing their global organization. In the future, their plan is to expand within the Rail, and Aerospace industry.
When opening their Japanese entity, JETRO’s Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) has supported by providing temporal office (IBSC Kanagawa), consultation (registration, tax, labor), introduction to the local government, providing information (market, regulations & legal systems), introduction to service providers, and PR.
