Established in 1986 and headquartered in New York, Courier Network Inc.
is an international freight forwarder with 150 employees. The company has bases in Israel, Mexico, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and Germany.
The company specializes in various transport services such as “next flight out” (NFO: transport by the fastest route using a chartered or priority airmail flight) and “onboard courier” (OBC: a hand-carried service utilizing commercial flights) and operates around the clock.
In November 2018, the company set up the joint corporation Courier Network Japan in Tokyo with the aim of being more accessible to its existing Japanese customer base as well as to cultivate new customers.
The JETRO JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided temporary office space, consultation (on company registration, visa, tax and labor matters) and referral to a local certified legal specialist for company registration and visa application.
