Utthunga Technologies Private Limited is an Indian company that develops and provides technologies related to Industrial engineering software and hardware, solution and services that are essential to the realization of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Industry 4.0. They offer products and services around Industrial standards such as OPC(Open Platform for Connectivity)*, FDT(Field Device Tool), FDI (Field Device Integration) and various communication protocols.

IIoT is rapidly expanding also in Japan, primarily in the industrial field, and several major Japanese companies have already introduced Utthunga’s technologies. The company established Utthunga KK. in Tokyo in November 2017 with the aim of strengthening its customer service and expanding its market.

For the establishment of their Japanese base, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided consultation on registration and temporary office space, introduced service providers (administrative scrivener and tax accountant) and provided support in searching for office space.

*OPC is the interoperability standard for the secure and reliable exchange of data between client and server in industrial automation space and in other industries.
