Thai Ho Group Inc., a leading cosmetics ODM manufacturer in Taiwan, established Thai Ho Bio-Tech Cosmetics (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. in May 2016, as a R&D base for product development in Tokyo.

The company has a manufacturing base in China (Shanghai) and is engaged in contract manufacturing for world-class cosmetic brands such as Estee Lauder and L'Oreal. By establishing a product development base in Japan, Thai Ho Group Inc., will create “developed-in-Japan” cosmetics and aims to promote export of high value-added products to China, countries.

In June 2017, they established a joint venture with an Okinawan cosmetics company to conduct production within their own factory. From here on out, they will work in earnest to expand overseas sales through their products manufactured in Japan.

For the establishment of its subsidiary in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided temporary office space, consultation (registration, tax and labor matters), referral to service providers (banks, tax accountants, real estate agents and recruitment agencies) and provision of market information.
