Mexican automotive parts manufacturer BOCAR, S.A. de C.V. establishes the Japanese corporation in Yokohama.
BOCAR, S.A. de C.V. has grown their business at automotive parts (e.g. powertrain parts and aluminum body structural parts, etc), with aluminum diecasting, gravity casting and plastic injection molding since 1958. They have overseas office in the United States and Germany, and are expanding their international business through deals with Japanese automobile OEMs. Particularly in North American region, BOCAR supplies its auto parts to the Tier 1 automotive suppliers and OEMs, taking advantage of North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). With the establishment of AUMA Engineered Products, KK (AEP KK) in Japan, the BOCAR Group expects to further expand business with Japanese automobile manufacturers as well as its operations across the Asia-Pacific.
For the establishment of the Japanese Corporation (AEP KK), the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided BOCAR with consultation (for registration, visa, tax matters and labor affairs); advice regarding real estate, human resources and logistics; and referral to municipalities.
