US diamond coating device manufacturer and provider Duralar Technologies establishes corporation in Yokohama

The American company Duralar Technologies LLC established Duralar Technologies Inc. in Yokohama, Kanagawa in July 2016.

Duralar Coating is Duralar’s self-developed coating device that utilizes distinguished surface coating technologies to produce high-quality hardness, low friction and high luster on the outer and inner surfaces of metals. The company is distributing this device as well as providing coating services with it. It wants to bring this technology that is highly evaluated in the US to Japan and promote its use for various sectors such as auto parts and semiconductors. Duralar’s entry into Japan is expected to boost its business with Japanese companies.

For the establishment of its subsidiary, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) lent temporary office space in Kanagawa. Other services included consultation (registration, visa and tax matters and labor affairs), provision of information related to real estate, human resources and logistics and referral to local government and business organizations.
