Aug 31, 2016 A Chinese online travel agency established a joint venture with leading Japanese travel agency HIS in December 2015. boasts the largest share in China in terms of sales of tickets for trains, sightseeing attractions and cruise ships.

The number of Chinese travelers to Japan is on the rise in recent years and the ratio of individual travelers is projected to grow even further. The company aims to strengthen procurement of items from affluent Japanese tourism material (*) and set up a 24/7 call center in order to offer prompt customer service in response to Chinese traveler's needs and increase sales to Chinese travelers in Japan. At the same time, provides sightseeing attractions procured in China through HIS's sales network to Japanese travelers in China. Through this exchange of procurement it hopes that both companies will benefit from each other's strengths.

For the establishment of the company in Japan, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided support including market information and consultation on tourism-related licenses.
