Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture is gifted with the beautiful ocean, rivers, hot springs and rich nature. Coupled with its comfortable office environment, as well as a convenient location being just a one-hour flight from Tokyo, Shirahama is now drawing the sites of IT companies including a world-leading cloud service company Salesforce.com Co., Ltd. and NEC Solution Innovators, Ltd.
Shirahama is set to hold an ICT forum to further promote the establishment of business bases by IT companies. In the forum, the town is going to deseminate information on its excellent business environment and preferential treatment for companies expanding into Shirahama, of which the town boasts among the highest levels among local governments.
