Sep 20, 2016
A German company, JOMESA Meßsysteme GmbH, which engages itself in development, manufacturing and sales of cleanliness analysis equipment for automotive components and medical devices, established JOMESA Japan KK in Tokyo in November 2015.
Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Munich, Germany, the company has sales bases in the US, Brazil, China and South Korea and has an extensive business footprint worldwide. The company's microscopic contamination analysis equipment (for cleanliness analysis) is the source of its fame. It has maintained a customer base in automotive-related industries in Japan. To expand business in Japan, it set up its local corporation in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
For the establishment of the company, the JETRO Invest Japan Business Support Center (IBSC) provided support, including provision of temporary office space, assistance for setting up a company (registration and labor affairs) and referral to service providers (administrative scriveners, tax accountants/accountants, real estate agencies) as well as advice on human resources (recruiting).
