Iwate Prefecture is well known as the birthplace of original Nanbu toji. Since the mid-1800s, we have carefully brewed sake in a town blessed with pure water, rice, and technique for brewing unique to Iwate. Our sake "Asabiraki" has always been highly valued in various regions throughout other countries as well. We proudly serve our sake worldwide.

Our brew master has had the honor of winning gold medals 19 times in row at the National Sake Competition held in the spring every year, a feat which has never before been accomplished.
We can proudly say it is because of our continuous efforts working every day for over 140 years.
