Here at JETRO, we put together a publicly accessible database of companies that are proactive about their desire to work with highly-skilled foreign professionals in order to grow their business. Through this database, users can see which Japanese companies are keen hiring highly-skilled foreign professionals. In addition, we included information on which region/country each employer is interested in and whether they are currently hiring foreign professionals and interns. Where You Can Look for Jobs

While a number of private businesses are already acting as intermediaries to recruit professionals to jobs in Japan, government agencies are also providing services geared to foreign nationals. The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare matches job seekers to positions through Hello Work (Public Employment Security Offices) locations nationwide, and has also established an Employment Service Center for Foreigners, a support organization for highly-skilled foreign professionals, in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya,and Fukuoka.

For foreign students currently studying in Japan, there is an additional service called the Career Support Network for International Students in Japan, operated by the International Students Support Network.
