The 2nd Supply Chain Resilience Forum
-How supply chain management evolve by digital transformation?-

JETRO is holding the 2nd Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) Forum on September 17, 2021. The 2nd forum will be held under the theme of "How supply chain management evolve by digital transformation?". The open discussion among experts from the private-sector, academia, and governments in ASEAN/Australia/India/Japan etc. will take place.

It is likely that Digital Transformation (DX) will significantly change the nature of global supply chains and its management. Digital technology has a potential to enable the inter-connection and the networking among companies beyond physical obstacles through visualization/analyzation/optimization of supply chain.

In this forum, we will deepen our understanding on the current situation of supply chain management and its future through introduction of initiatives and researches on supply chains and digital technologies by private-sector, academia, and governments from ASEAN/Australia/India/Japan etc. In addition, there will be a session to discuss initiatives for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth such as circular economy in the Indo-Pacific region.

Through these sessions, it is expected that the forum will provide the platform to discuss supply chain visualization/resilience through digital technologies, formulation of regional supply chain among ASEAN/Australia/India/Japan etc., and the prospects and future visions of regional cooperation for sustainable growth.
