In collaboration with Fluid analysis and Model Experiments (Nagasaki University Faculty of Engineering, West Japan Fluid Engineering Laboratory Co., Ltd.), we optimized and marketed open-type small hydroelectric power generation.The technology achieves high efficiency even in low flow rate and low drop environment, is resistant to dust, has fish ways, and flexibly responds to flow rate fluctuations.Intellectual property is designed, patented, and currently acquired or applied for overseas.

WaterWeco®
The open water wheel is called WaterWeco® and consists of a water wheel and a water guide part: a chest wall,
an increaser machine, and a control panel.
Awards and Acceleration Program Track Record
In 2018, ELIS CO.,LTD. signed a business agreement with Tsuyama City, a local government in Okayama Prefecture, and JA Tsuyama(at the time),an agricultural cooperative, and started a project to use 100% of the electricity from small hydroelectric power generation for local production and consumption, and in 2019, a ceremony was held with Mayor Tsuyama, and it is scheduled to start operation in 2021.
Environmental Initiatives
The small hydro power reduces CO2 to zero, but it is epoch-making that it can be installed in areas that have been not profitable until now because they are not profitable at all. In other words, potential hydro power can be used as electricity (as hydrogen in the future). In addition, this water wheel can reduce maintenance costs, secure fish ways, and take biodiversity into consideration.
