Nissan Motor - Oppama Plant

Established in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture in 1933, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. currently manufactures vehicles in 20 countries and areas around the world, including Japan. Nissan offers products and services in more than 140 countries and areas worldwide. Oppama plant officially started its operation in 1961 as Japan's first passenger vehicle factory and in 1970 adopted welding robots in production line for the first time in the industry. Now it is one of the most advanced automated car manufacturing plants in the world.
