Minamoto

Opened in 1908 at Toyama Station as a bento boxed lunch shop, and started serving masu no sushi four years later. Since then, Minamoto has kept true to traditions while working to keep quality high, as Toyama's masu no sushi has begun to achieve fame nationwide. In summer of 2014, Minamoto reopened with a focus on local specialties in order to help contribute to Toyama tourism: visitors can learn about not just Minamoto, but the history of masu no sushi and station bento lunches.
